6:15 – 8:00 PM
Longleaf, Pasco County
(3104 Town Ave New Port Richey, FL 34655)
Join us on Thursday, October 8 from 6:15PM to 8:00PM as we take a trip to the north to visit the new urbanist development of Longleaf in Pasco County. We will walk the streets of Longleaf and we will hear from Frank Starkey, cofounder of Longleaf (with his brother Trey Starkey) who was responsible for its planning and urbanism. Members of Longleaf Design Build will discuss recent developments and there will be an opportunity to see a model home. The walk will begin at 6:30PM from Lonzalo’s Pizzeria in Downtown Longleaf. With suburban growth in Pasco County rebounding recently especially along SR 54/56 (as well as in other surrounding Tampa Bay communities) the visit will allow us to discuss Longleaf in the context of lessons learned as well as the future of suburban development. To encourage ridesharing, please contact us at cnutampabay@gmail.com if a ride is needed.
Following the walk, please join us as appetizers will be provided at the barside of Lonzalo’s Pizzeria.
RSVP on our Facebook page.
Hope to see you there!
